Come off the ledge. Calgary is just fine, they swapped third liners and got a guy that fills a third line role better than Neal was going to.

Flames better watch out 4 rich Sens regarding Matthew.
M.Tkacuk is the best sheet target remaining.

If I'm not mistaken, the whole world said that Lucic isn't NHL worthy anymore. Just funny to me that Flames fans now try to make it seem like they traded a 3rd liner for a 3rd liner. Before this trade every one on Flames Nation plus fans of other teams called Lucic a bum. Now that he's on your team, he's all the sudden NHL caliber lol

On a side note, I think he will fit better on your team than Neal though, but just be realistic.. 2 months ago everyone didn't see him as an NHL player.

I don't disregard that at all, no one has really changed their mind on that I don't think. For the Flames it is a 3rd line swap, Neal would have been on our third line next year and Lucic will be this year, I personally see it as a better fit, are there better options, absolutely, I would have paid a pretty penny to have that be Kassian for Neal++. There have just been so many Flames fans that have jumped on the fire Treliving bandwagon which is absolutely mental. In terms of an on ice product the Flames have not improved or gotten worse, In terms of a contract there are smarter people than myself that looked into that and made that call.

Flames are one Frolik or Brodie trade away from being able to pay Tkachuk whatever he wants. Flames reduced their cap hit by half a million.. why weren’t you posting this before the Lucic trade?

Ha, I wouldnt say that....Id so much rather have Neal than Lucic on my team. Especially seeing how seriously Neal is taking his offseason

You don’t know what you’re saying then. Neal will push for top 6 in Edmonton our pout and be awful again in Calgary. There isn’t a spot for Neal in Calgary that would make all parties happy that was evident in the playoffs. Troy Brouwer also took off seasons seriously.. along with every other aging NHL player that wants to stay relevant, that’s a horrid argument.

Im not basing my argument completely off of that.... theyre both washed up players (Not even old players because theyre 31) who have significantly dropped off their play in the last couple years. But pushing top 6 in edmonton isnt saying anything, id say thats a pretty horrid argument.

You didn’t even make a point in that last reply.. Lucic fits better in Calgary, Neal would have been the equivalent because there isn’t a spot in the top six where he wants to play. That’s why to my original point, they swapped third liners and Lucic will fill that role better than Neal would have.

I didnt feel the need to explain myself when all you said is basically "lucic is better than neal" even though few people would agree with that. I guess if youd want to have alittle harder hitting forward who could be used to throw the body around then ya...lucic is your guy. But youd probably be using him with Bennett and Jankowski...in that case, id prefer to have Neal because hes better offensively

At no point did I say he was better than Neal. Neal literally played the majority of the year last year with Bennett and Jankowski and we saw the results of that. Ideally Lucic Dube and Bennett are a line that bangs and crashes and scores garbage goals off of Dube’s puck moving ability and possession. You clearly haven’t read or thought about anything and you’re putting out arguments for arguments sake.

Hahahahahaha remember when you thought about something from three months ago on a website that means nothing!! Holy crap, find a hobby pal!

Either way, the point I made there still stands, Calgary made a swap of third liners, it's exactly where Neal would have played in Calgary and there is a 0% chance Neal would be on the tear he is right now if he stayed ion Calgary. Lucic has fit better in Calgary already than Neal moping around the ice last year. If you want to talk about clowning, you literally brought up a point from three months ago that still absolutely stands.
Points I made above, to make this extremely clear for your dense little head:
- Lucic fits better in Calgary, check
- There is no spot for Neal in Calgary's top six, check
- Calgary made a swap of player on their third line, check

Talk to you again in three months when you continually think about me!
