Parayko Barrie

Created by: deleted_x_t_213213
Team: 2021-22 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 20, 2019
Published: Jul. 20, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If Nylander has a breakout season (70-80 points) his trade value will go up and a first rounder and him should do it for Parakyo. In 2022 the Leafs should have about 24 million to sign Rielly (9), Parakyo (8), Kapanen (5), Dermott (3) Sandin and Liljegren, although one might have to go.
This team should be good enough to win a cup.

If Hyman wants 3.75 i let him walk honestly, Rather promote Moore to a top line & send up Engvall/Timashov to the 4th line.

Or...you can give the 5.5 to Muzzin, keep Nylander and the 1st, get rid of Hyman, not blow your brains out on Marner, and still win.

I'd say they wouldn't.

If hyman asks for that much you replace him. It’s not like he’s that skilled or more valuable to the team then a sandin or liligren will be when they make it. Hyman will be over 30 (idk his age rn I’m just guessing) so I’d rather keep two young stud d men.

If you bring muzz back but it would have to be very short term which would be the opposite of what he wants. If not you’ll be signing an awful contract and you’ll regret it

I do think Nylander would be an amazing fit for the Blues, but I’d still way rather have Parayko

You can't possibly be serious with this Parayko fantasy.

Agreed. His value is near untouchable to the Blues. For a team to acquire him, the g.m. would have to offer a package that would get him fired, and no one wants to lose their job.

It depends on how much he likes winning. He plays a simple enough game that in 4 or 5 years he shouldn't erode that much. Thre is always the IR...

alot of people laughed when Leafs fans wanted Barrie in Toronto, but it happened. Anythings possible. Like I said, Nylander has to have a huge year and with a 1st rounder, it might entice Doug Armstrong.
