They don’t need that much of cap space, they have 9m to sign fiala and erikson ek, those two will be bridge so that left them with space to take big cap with not that much money

Ya they have the space, but it’s a 3 year commitment. Could do it but won’t and probably shouldn’t considering. They have tons of guys up in two years and ur still paying Backes 6 million when they have to resign/ replace them

Backes would be a decent 3rd line center on this team. If you can get Boston to retain a mil or 2 it'd be worth it
