I might be overvaluing Vatanen here. Feel free to set me straight.

This obviously leaves 3 of the top 4 D in UFA status at the end of the season, but this would be the best D core that Matthews, Marner, Tavares, and Nylander have had backing them up since they became Leafs

1. Trade: its hard to see NJD wanting Ceci and Gauthier. 3rd pair n 4th line guys. But the 1st giving up 2 years in advance is scary
2. Marner: you have overpaid him by about 2Mil AAV
3. Lineup: Sure looks decent
