The D seems like a bit of a step back from what we have right now and I imagine one of Barrie or Muzzin will be back, and if that happens, that would make it more than a little tight. But otherwise, it's possible for sure

Thanks. And agree about our D, however in this case at least we get Dumba. lol I also agree that one of Muzzin or Berrie will be back Instead of Hall I would rather spread the money out amongst our D.

Also, we could probably save about $2mill on Dermott if we reduce the term to 1or2 years. We could also probably save $500k-1mill on Hall (I just used JT's contract as an example). I think we probably save about$50-100k on Bracco for a savings of $2.55-3.1 we would still need to make a trade (maybe Hyman and one of Moore or Bracco could take his spot) and we would be able to bring Muzzin back.

You can save a lot of money on Dermott if you don't play him with Reilly like most believe Babcock will next year. The Leafs need to learn from the lesson of Nylander and Marner (Nylander with average talent got star money because he played with Matthews on the 1st line and Marner with star talent wants superstar money because he's on the 1st line with J.T.) you never play a pending RFA with a superstar, you're just bending yourself over to get screwed later.

Agree, but I think Nylander is better then an average talent.

I'd place Nylander slightly better than Johnsson and Kapanen.
