Norris isnt going anywhere

Yeah Buffalo takes this and runs imo.

You both know a lot more about Norris than I. The scouting reports did not seem to be so remarkable.
I would prefer White over Tierney, but saving $3.500,000 of cap could open up other possibilities for the Sabres.
Make it the sens 2nd and I am sure it would work.
Or take Scandella also and send Buffalo Boedker.

White isnt going anywhere, hes a top 6 centre for us and can also play RW. Tierney and Pageau are on the block, theyre both top 3rd line centres who can fill in at 2C for a short time if injuries occur.

I agree white is not going anywhere and only mentioned white as an aside and said that lowering the cap hit may offer value.
What about the trade I proposed.

If you changed Norris for Chlapik or Balcers id do it. Norris is best friends with Tkachuk and likely to be our #2C in about a year, i wouldnt trade him tbh/

Scandella, for Boedker is close adding MacArthur sweetens the deal to add actually cash going to OTT.
Ristolainen for Tierney, Chlapik and 2020 2nd round pick (OTT) seems to be about correct.
Girgensons for nothing really does not work, he is a solid possession forward and very good on the PK. I would imagine if the Sabres had even average GK the PK may have ranked among the top 3 teams.
