Timashov is 22, great playmaker, can play PK (i think) but sadly will need waivers to be sent down to the minors... IMO he is NHL-ready and if we dare put him on waivers, some team like Edmonton will take him like a hawk finding prey after not eating for a month. What is going to happen in your opinion
If he is good as you say, I certainly wouldn't lose in on waivers because for some reason you have Petan and Agostino taking NHL spots. Just keep Timashov.
Montreal will most certainly claim him....he's under 5'9".
I've been to Marlie games and seen him play for real, Timashov is a bulldog on the ice, not your typical tiny player, unlike Petan, who would fit in nicely with the Habs.
Comrie and a 4th for timashov and a 3rd. Comrie is going to be better than sparks and has starter potential and could be backup. Same issue for the jets. He is not waiver exempt and has little chances of beating out broasiot for the backup job.

And this is why Toronto's fan base is considered a joke. Unfair to all the good posters, but statements like this are mind boggling. Toronto's big trade acquisition last month was who? Toronto's top forward prospect in the AHL is who? What was the common theme with Toronto's draft this year? Petan? Moore? Timashov? Yeah, much better "small" players than Gallagher & Byron.
