Same. Not because Danault worth it, just because we can’t trade him right now. He is our best center by far, I know Domi put up 72 points, but Danault is the PK leader of this team & he is playing against other team first line night after night. Kotkaniemi & Poehling aren’t ready yet.

I get what you are saying, I just don't see MTL trying to compete this year, they are the 5th/6th best team in their division now but could easily move up to 2nd/3rd in 2 years. at the moment Danault is at his highest value. Habs could definitely manage running Domi - KK down the middle and have Poehling on the wing to start this year, Flames have an extra PKer (if we were to do a trade for Danault) in Ryan or Jankowski (I recommend the later due to age). Jankowski has some 5v5 room to improve but his PK is stellar, he had 8 Short handed points last year, 2nd in the league.
