Description

Columbus makes the trade to replace the points from Panarin (and TDL Duchene) with the trade-off being their best D while gaining their best F.

Toronto can theoretically replace Marner points with Kapanen, Nylander, Johnsson picking up the slack while improving their biggest need at D.

This would be a really good move for TO, not sure Columbus would want to do it but you never know. It does make them younger and I think Kapanen would be okay with Tavares. Tavares wouldn't score 40+ goals with Kapanen but he'd definitely be able to get a lot more assists since Kap is more of a shooter.
