Toronto signs 2 Cs and 2 Ws, only 1 way contracts and none of these can help save money.... their using up Marner monies.... Guess when trade deadline time comes no cash to work with.

Two way means nothing unless you care about Bell / Rogers bank accounts ...

It's actually a negative because it means cost sensitive teams would be more likely to steal him on waivers.

Any contract under $1,050,000 doesn't affect cap space at all ... any cap-hit under that amount 100% disappears if you send them to the AHL.
