Pretty spot on to my thoughts as well. I would like to see Miller with Dahlin and Montour McCabe as the second pair. Hopefully Ralph doesnt like the Risto Scandella pair as much as Housley did. They would be best as a third pair IMO.

If they hold onto Risto then this is likely the lineup with maybe a few tweaks to the D lines. I also really hope Ullmark doesn't get that much on a 1 year deal

I think that they will hang onto Risto until the trade deadline. With next year bringing more cap space to the Sabres I feel we can get more for him then and spend more next year. I would just hope they are a bubble team this year and then keep building. I don't see Mitts as a #2 center yet. He needs more time but with with what we have I think they may move Johansson to center and bump mitts to third line. Move Vesey to second line with Olofson and keep SER on first. Move Erod to wing on the third line with Mitts and Sheary. Just my thoughts.
