Not even close to worse are u kidding me? Kahun is a 40pt speedy winger, Mccann is good for a 40pt season, Rust is good for a 40pts season. McCann is 23, Kahun is 24. This trade gives them cap flexibility, 3 middle 6 wingers, two of which are still young and could improve. Theyre absolutely better

They also are able to build a bottom 6 thats solid and could help them make the playoffs.
a Bottom 6 of Khaira-Gagne-Granlund and Nygard-Brodziak-Colby/Archibald will not help them make the playoffs

PIT rejects, i feel like McCann and Kahun are basically untradable, and PIT doesn't have the best forward depth and they traded two guys who will probably be in the top 6 and Rust for Nuge who doesn't really fill a need (they already have Bjugs at 3C) and if they're playing him in the top 6 I'd rather keep McCann and Kahun (McCann had fantastic chemistry with Crosby, and Kahun will score 40-50 minimum and is on an ELC) and if you just do the trade for Nuge, the pens take on cap space, not to mention the roughly 2.15 from Brodziak+Pulju,
Rust>/=Pulju+Brodziak (at least the 9 points he got in EDM last year)
McCann+Kahun>/=Nuge, but I'd rather have the two guys for less money than one for more

Yeah i personally thought Edmonton wins this deal by a bit. McCann, Kahun and Rust would do wonders for Edmonton's winger depth

I'm not so sure about that. As much as Edmonton loves baby Nuge, if this deal was available Holland would jump at it to fill the top 9 forwards with more than AHL tweeners. It instantly would make the Oilers a more balanced team.
