Anderson is more then a hot and cold starter. I dont think kerfoot is a borderline 2nd line center and muzzin is at least a number 3 defenseman

I'd say Freddy is better than a hot and cold starter considering his 'hot' sections last for most of the year with maybe 2-3 weeks of being cold mixed around. He really is underrated by fans who don't follow the Leafs

If he didnt play so much he would be more consistent

im not sure how much more consistent you want him to be. He was only cold for two weeks all year and was a .920 (normal for him) most of the time with a few hot stretches in the .930's.

Andersen is incredible. Muzzin is very good but Barrie is incredible.

He has been very good except for that one little blip at the end of the season where they were giving up like 7 goals a game. That wasnt his fault but he shouldn't be playing 55+ games

I wouldn't say Barrie is a top pair defenseman, Nylander is more of a 2nd Line winger who has 1st Line potential and Kerfoot at even borderline 2C is generous. Also, who is this mysterious 4th top 4 D-Man you speak of?

This is good, but why is everyone on the team left handed? It makes it difficult to recognize the players. Can you make one for the Penguins? If not, I will make one myself.

Andersen is an elite goaltender and one of the most consistent in the league. If Sparks offered him any support, it would’ve been a much better situation. Unfortunately Sparks was only capable of playing poorly and he blamed his teammates instead of himself.

Ehhh... top 4 is a huge stretch for a guy who was somewhat inconsistent last year, he could get there in the future but certainly not now.

That's what I was saying. He is at least a top 10 goalie in the league. Sparks wasnt great but he wasnt put in the best position at all. He really only played on the second half of the back to backs but he still should have been better. I look at Anderson like the Rask situation. Rask plaid a fair amount of games and also got lots of rest. Because of that he was insane in the playoffs and all teams should look to spend more on backups

Dermott is very underrated. Defeninitly a #4 guy on most teams. He is a very good play driver and can play in all situations. He doesnt put up a ton of points but is amazing transitionaly and has dominated on the 3rd pair. He could easily move up with rielly

I agree completely, Dermott was one of their best defensemen last season. Who would you say has a higher ceiling, Dermott or Joseph?

Sparks was pure trash, period. The guy should not be playing professional sports with that attitude.

Barrie was incredible, he’s looked nothing special the last season or two though. I think he’s a good fit for the Leafs, but he doesn’t really drive his own offense and his defense is slightly below average

Especially after his quote yesterday. He was given so many chances and sucked.

I think Joseph Duszak could be a good 3rd pairing guy who can occasion step up if he needs to but I haven't seen enough of him. I think dermott will be way better and he is now. I can see dermott becoming a number 3 defenseman who can pk, dominate 5v5 but he wont put up a whole lot of points. A future top four of rielly, dermott, sandin and someone they sign or resign like barrie/muzzin is very good. They also have liljegren who has the stuff to be a number 3 but I see as a really good 4-5 who can play in all situations.

For the future they only really need to find a number 6ish guy and they think that is kokkonen who most people projected to go in the 1st round but dropped to the 4th.

Thanks for replying but I wasn’t talking about Duszak. I meant Pierre Olivier Joseph of PIT, what’d you think of him?

Yea I was wondering because most people haven't heard of duszak. I dont know a whole lot about POJ but he looks like a speedy guy who is very good transitionaly. I think he is a couple years away from the nhl. As of right now I think dermott will be better but I could be completely wrong because I haven't watched much of him. He did put up big points in a league where scoring is high on a decent team. He may be better then dermott but I dont know enough so that's why I'm saying dermott

Thanks for your input. In your opinion who is the better defenseman at their best, Letang or Byfuglien?
