Does nobody understand that they have the space to sign Laine and Connor? Plus, if they had to make a move to clear some cap. I can assure you they'd trade perreault or move Kulikov in a Steve Mason-ish trade where he gets bought-out. They could even move both players if need be, they're not going to be making this trade. If they want an NHL ready dman they should trade for Honka.

Pffft.. That's a garbage trade for the Jets, lose 4 years of term AND give a 1st round pick? Nope!
More like RNH and a 1st for Ehlers but even then if I'm the Jets I wouldn't do it.
