Nylander + Johnson for Marchand!

Oh dear.....

Norther team makes this deal. Clearly Marchand was the better player last year so Boston isn’t looking to move him. Nylander is younger and fits with our core. Why would the leafs want to move him.

holy... I thought I would never have seen such a bad ACGM. Marchand for Marner + 1st + conditional 2nd. No, we will not be entertaining any talks on receiving camp dump Nylander (no teams in the right mind would do so, 23 years old and crap, no. Also not team friendly). Marchand was off an 100 point season earning only 6M so no in the first place. If you even want to start talking for a 100 point guy, go with someone who actually is good and some picks too. i don't care how old he is, he is still capable of putting 90+ points a season and 35+ goals a season. Plus, hes not going to waive to a team that cannot get past the first round and definitely not going to move to any team.

Marchand is on an incredible contract. Despite being a total prick he is a great player and certainly worth way more than Nylander.

What is with all of a sudden posters vastly over rating Nylander? Yesterday I saw one trading Willie to Montreal for Petry, Suzuki, one of their young D, and Chicago's 2nd round draft pick next year. Thought maybe I was overlooking something, so I checked his yearly stats, he is trending to be a 20 goal scorer, showed his commitment to the team by holding out last year, doesn't kill penalties, and disappears in the play offs. All for a cap hit of just under 7 million.
