I’m not sure if you understand how EA ratings work, but usually you have at least one player in the 70s. And you rate your players like the Canes are the Tampa Bay Lightning. YOU AREN'T EVEN CUP CONTENDERS!!! You have Slavin rated higher than Roman Josi was last year. Slavin hasn’t even hit 35 points yet. The one that baffles me the most is Justin Williams. Justin Williams will be lucky to stay at the 82 he got last year. Do some research before you do something like this.

Thank you for commenting. I am aware of how EA Sports rate their players. However, I prefer to rate the young players like Aho, Teravainen and Svechnikov a little higher than what they would usually get because they have very high potential. I rated Slavin 89 because in my opinion he is one of the best 2 way defenders in the game, highly underrated. I plan to rate Josi at 92. I rated Williams based off when he was at his peak, therefore in my opinion it should be around 87. He was a prolific goal scorer. If you think these stats are high, wait until I do it for the Lightning.

Last time I checked, Justin Williams is NOT in his prime anymore. Also, just because they are young and have great potential, it doesn’t make them a better player right now. It helps in Franchise Mode but it shouldn’t affect their overall at the moment. I think it would have been better to name this something like “Canes Players Ratings In Their Prime”. It would have made more sense.

I appreciate your suggestion and you are right, every player I’ve rated are based off when they are at their best.
