Like the Canadiens don't offer Gallagher 7M.

He wants to play for a perennial contender and will take a tad less to do so.

My favorite part about this is that Melker is still holding down fort on the 4th line wing and killing penalties.

He had a down year but still managed 12 goals. I think he can still be effective for a few more seasons and will come cheap.

A very quiet 12. Plus him and Goodrow are great together on the PK. If he can find his shot again, that 12 can easily turn into 16 - 18. In the hypothetical situations on here, I always trade him because of the Cap hit he currently has, but I have nothing against him.

I'm fine with keeping him this year. I like his style of play and he always gives 110%. He has the ability to play on any line in case of mid-game injuries.

He has always been a Canadiens player so if the Canadiens offer him more he will take it. Plus the 2022 Canadiens might be a perennial contender, you never know.
