Isn't Georgiev NYR's future starting goalie? If Lindquist isn't done in the NHL this year then it'll be next year. So why move Georgiev?

Doesn't make sense.

There was a trade on here earlier today that had him going to SJ in a package without goalies coming back and NYR fans liked it so I assume they're not glued to him.

Lundqvist isn't done NOW. I think he'll at least play out his contract.

I’d rather keep him unless the rangers get blown away. Probably need two 3rds or something like that for him.

From a Ranger fan, all I can say is HELL NO. Georgiev is staying in NYC.

The Rangers do have another young goalie, Shesterkin (spelling doesnt count, who just came over from Russia and is Lundquist's heir apparent. But he hasn't played in North America yet and it would be prudent to hedge their bets by holding on to Georgiev for a while. So as the poster above said, they'd have to be blown away to trade him now.

swap out Korenar with a 2nd, drop the 6th and this doesn't look like too bad of a deal

If things pan out with Shesterkin and Georgiev, Hank will be the one moving, maybe as early as tdl.
