Jones is the best defenseman in the league yet no one considers him. Backstrom is arguably the greatest pure playmaker the game has ever seen and Barkov is not even rated as highly as Toews.

You forgot Brian Dumoulin. So consistent and reliable.

Couture gets very little love but is consistent one of the top playoff performers in the league and puts up 60-70 pts per season.

I think everyone knows that backstrom is fantastic now, i agree that even though everyone says barkov is underrated, they still don't know really how good he is I don't think Oshie is underrated, he has the same issue as Hornqvist, caps fans want his contract gone bc they're stuck with it for the next 6 years, not bc they hate the player (or maybe they do hate the player, I'm not a caps fan idk, I'm which case he probably would be underrated) but I'd swap out Backstrom for Ondrej Kase and Kempny and Pulock for two of Hampus Lindholm, Nick Jensen and Brett Pesce

So many people comment how underrated Barkov that he is starting to become a lot less underrated.

the greatest playmaker the game has ever seen, dude I like him too but pump the brakes on that, hes good he can pass but no thats a bit strong. jones is elite but yeah he gets put behind the burns and hedmans of the league but thats not underrating him thats just where he is and no one outside of Chicago thinks toews is better than Barkov
