not even close...ziba is a better player alone than point not to mention on an insane contract. Point is good yes but highly inflated by the best offensive team in the league and the talent he plays with.

I swear man... some fans sometimes get so irrational...

"any trade with Marner starts with a package of Couture Labanc Meier and Hertl!"... "any Point package starts with Zibanejad!"... just.... stop!

So you would put Zibanejad on 1st line and Point on 2nd line? Yikes
No wonder Brayden didn't sign the offer sheets, sarcasm when GM's wants to play him on the 2nd line on rebuilding teams... sarcasm
Almost 100 points, big deal, just go to 2nd line ...

Good luck to your team next season, i hope the rebuild succesful already, gonna be some fun games! only 63 days until season starts!

zibanejad is the better all around players yes point was good but he looks like the by product of kuch and stamkos and the best team in the league.

If u say so, i will keep a closer eye on Zibanejad next season, but im willing to bet that Point, once again will have a truly amazing season, if no injuries.
I think you are overvalue the rangers for next season, just because your team looks 10 times better than last season, it still doesnt mean that u will find success in the playoffs. And we know what matters most: Who wins the stanley cup.

But i'm super interested in what Kakko will do this season: 40 points - 60 points , or even better? If he can do 60+ that would be crazy.
Overall, the rangers have a bright future, but i think next season, its not gonna be easy 82 games and easy playoffs.

BTW is Shattenkirk that bad btw that they needed to buy him out? Next year's caphit for Shattenkirk looks super crazy high. Was it really worth it for this season? So next season NYR will have cap trouble?
Why didn't NYR traded Shattenkirk to ottwawa, for like 2nd+3rd+4th round + 1 prospect? If they dont want to give up 1st round, i get it, but why not lower picks, or not top tier prospects? This buyout doesnt seem good to me... Trading Kreider looked much better, since he has 1 year left.
