Description

Dermott is fully healthy by then and takes spot with Rielly. Ceci is moved for pick after being better than with Sens and Leafs acquire Kreider for Bracco, 2022 2nd (if Kreider re-signs with Leafs it would be 2022 1st), 2021 3rd (which would be conditional as well. If Leafs get to 3rd round in playoffs it would change to 2021 2nd). Rangers can potentially get Bracco, 1st and 2nd for Kreider but that would need to be perfect scenario for both teams. Also Leafs acquire 3LD for pick and Kivihalme (Simek from SJS)

Even if your trade deadline deal is pretty decent, considering that Kreider would be a rental for only a few months, I can't see him resigning for that AAV before at least testing the market. All he has to do is look at Brock Nelson, Anders Lee, Kevin Hayes new deals and he will notice that he's probably better, with better numbers, then all of them. I think he will get $7.5 million AAV at least in free agency, if he makes it there.

That's not a good return for Kreider. The Rangers will get much better offers.
