Description
What a joke of an organization. They fire their GM after one season. Why would they let him be in charge of the draft and free agency if they were going to fire him

Its absolutely astonishing that the fans could see he was the wrong guy for the job from the start, and only now a year later after he's gone and messed up things, management figured out he wasn't the right guy either.

I don't think he did a great job there. Still a little early IMO but i get why they did it.

You only have one chance to make a good first impression

Either way this was absolutely the right move and as a fan of one of the 30 other teams, I am quite saddened by it. They should have kept him for longer and given us all of their good players for a tall lizard or something.

I don't think anyone knew what direction MIN was headed with Fenton, it might be a good thing that we'll never know it

Granlund for Fiala, Coyle for Donato and a 4th (still too early with this one but doesn't look great now) ... this team is rebuilding ...

So, why not add to Parise and Suter with another bad long-term deal in Zuccarello?

What i don't get is that they seemed to be rebuilding and then he signed Zucc for 5 years X 6M ... It's a short-term move for a team who isn't good in the short-term.

Exactly, his only good move was drafting Boldy and Donato wasn’t bad either. Everything else was terrible. The Wild won’t make the playoffs once w Zucc
