Not sure you will receive positive feedback on this. Beside that, Tampa are not in the business of acquiring draft pick at this point

I was considering listening to your comment, but then I saw your armchair gm team "GHOST-FERLAND-MORIN-CHARIOT" and when I saw the PHI trade.... Good lord.... You have no right telling anyone to "wake up".....

Well... They need space for Point and you want to get rid of Domingue, so you take good picks plus a good player with some AHL prospects for that space. McD cost less and will fill the top spot. Once done they can probably sign Gardiner for around 6M$ plus or less for a year and they'll have a solid D line anyways. Gardiner would sign a year contract in TB given tax break plus weather to prove himself back.

Habs get proven leader, Domingue in the AHL and build back up their D line.

hedman is thier number 1 dman. they'll trade guys like gourde, palat and mcd to make space for point. not hedman. there is no value for tampa in this trade. u cant replace a guy like hedman

You are not even close to what OTT got for a UFA Karlsson, and they got fleeced. Hedman is a better D with still 6 years on a good contract.

As for my gm, you are welcome to give me your opinion on my tread... I could stand corrected if you gave intelligent reasoning why it sucks...

Look at you gm... If you don't know why it sucked then you should stop giving opinion on others choices.

Also, don't look at what Ottawa got, that a deal made by two GMs, lots of deals don't have the same returns from one year to another. Context, timing, positioning, cap space, player's attitude, ect are all factors that drive deals to be different from one another.

This is a freaking website to post "what if" moves... NHL19 has limits on what you can do, here, I can trade Stamkos for a 7th round pick, sign Point for 900k for 8 yrs... This was a "what if" post ... Still was closer to reality than your gm...

Yes, you can make all the stupid trades you want here, just don't be offended when someone underline it flaws...

You use the same escape pattern as many:

- Here is my trade, what do you think?
- It could never happen based on facts.
- I never said it was realistic! Facts dont matter! I do it bad trades just for fun! Bouhouhou :'(

Meanwhile, I stand by my trades until someone provides me with valid arguments ...

Still waiting btw
