you realize he has the leafs winning the cup? automatically discredited

All joking aside, though, are you saying that if you don't agree with 100% of the predictions, all of them are bad? He has Tampa Bay, Boston, Dallas, Nashville, Florida, and St. Louis in the playoffs, too. Are you saying because he has the Leafs winning the cup that those teams can't make it?

I totally get that. If you think they have a better chance then i totally get it. I can still disagree and lots of people have the Rangers over the Penguins.

No there's just not a chance in the world Toronto won't collapse at some point in the playoffs

If we're being realistic, they could win the cup. Now with Barrie they have a top-4 of Rielly (a #1), Barrie (i'd say a #2), Muzzin (most likely a #3) and Dermott (I think he's a #4) and still a good offence. Andersen in net, too. I think they could totally win the cup. I don't think they win it, but they're a contender.

Well, no ... the world will end in the final seconds before they win it haha.

Way I see it:

Subban > Trouba
Hughes > Kakko
Simmonds+Gusev (both honestly are questions marks, but have good potential to impact)

But NYR did get Panarin so it's definitely tough for me, flip a coin lol

Rangers were also better this past season. Devils will get Hall for a full season (if he doesn't get injured again) but the Rangers also got Fox and Kravtsov and have better goaltending IMO. Also, i'd expect Kakko to be better short-term, but Hughes long-term.

Kakko would be my pick for the Calder. Not because i'm a Rangers fan, just because with what i've heard about him lots of people are saying he'll be better right away.

Hughes is so mall I have a hard time believing he'll adjust right away. But look at E.Pettersson... guys like what, 170 soaking wet?

So you either have washington as the 1 seed or boston as the 8 seed. I dont think they fall all the way to 8. and i dont think washington can keep up with how good tampa is. i would not like to play either team first round though.

I assume he's saying Washington ahead of Tampa as Boston is shown ahead of Pittsburgh.
