Shero is creating a future powerhouse

One deal that I could see happening from prior talks.

If Hutton wants to sign for that amount then I would take a gamble on him. He has the tools to be a good player and he`s better than the internal options the Pens have and anyone else they could afford on the open market right now. Would be easy to get rid of him mid year if need be.

Simon is the odd man out to start but there will always be injuries and Sully changes his lineup basically game to game anyways so he will get almost a full season anyways. Not a bad thing to have that type of depth

Total $$$ value of trade is very similar. Bjugstad is Minny Kid and could slide into top 6C or RW and Rust is a good young player but already has loads of experience in his career from his cup runs. Rask-Johnson is the swap discussed in the Kessel deal and the First makes up for the retained salary and value of Zucker. Both teams need the deal for different reasons but I think both teams get what they are looking for in this situation.
