That's what happens when you're a contender. Krieder isn't going to return a prospect of Tolvanen's level from any team, but he's definitely not getting traded from Nashville given their shallow prospect pool. A guy like Tolvanen only gets included in a trade for a much better player than Kreider.

Bonino is overpaid by a million or so, but the Jackets have the cap space for him, and can always flip him at the deadline if they're not contending. He's a solid, stabilizing vet for a team that just had a mass exodus. Having him center the 3rd line frees Jenner up to play wing again. TFW as the prospect is negotiable. I don't know much about him, I just see a small, late pick with some potential with him.

Columbus already has the old overpaid center thing down with Dubinsky, so we don’t need another. Texier, PLD, Wennberg, Bremstrom, Nash, Dubinsky and Jenner can all play center. I’d like to see Nash given the chance as a 3rd line center before we have to go get Bonino. Columbus also isn’t in the best place to move prospects or picks right now. Maybe if it were Turris could could be the 2nd line center if he rounds back into form again, but Dubinsky and Bonino are the same player and we already have one of them.

I’d think Harper, a conditional 2nd(NJ) that could go to a first and Mismash makes sense at the TDL. More if rangers retain salary.

I agree, but it was in reference to the Preds not having prospects. And Tolvanen and Fabbro are two very good ones.
