I don't know how it works but i thought if you don't make the NHL team you go back to junior, wouldn't Byram have to play in the WHL again?

4 games under a terrible D Coach and DJ Smith? I wouldnt take and if his time on the leafs as an indicator of what he can do.

Yep I just forgot about that... sorry. Byram will probably have his 9 games tryout and then go back to juniors. Cannot go to AHL.

Lol ok whatever you want to believe. He also played 8 games total not 4.
It takes two seconds to watch him and know he is poor defensively

Yeah its gonna be a tough call but i bet he ends up staying with the team, i don't see the point of him going back to the WHL to play with people who are under his skill level. I kind wish he would have committed to a college team for a year and got top line minutes kind of like makar did, just to play against some older competition and mature for a year then move him up next year.

You are wrong. Most leaf fans will dig for any excuse to not blame the players. I am a leaf fan and never once complained about DJ
