rantanen cuz he drafted latest out of all of them and we all know the lower picks are the most succsessful. thats why the team that wins the cup is awarded the last pick

I mean not necessarily, Crosby vs Ovi is a huge argument and kinda either is right and Crosby > Ovi imo but you can make a case for both and Crosby isn’t a pure goal scorer

Tough list, I think aho could turn into one of the best bargains in hockey, aho, marner, Rantanen, laine, but I believe I’m biased a little as far as some of the talent, that some of these guys play with. Right now I think aho makes his linemates better, and Rantanen and marner play with elite centers on the regular, and laine does occasionally, so my list could change over the years with the chemistry of the lines, but for the next 5 I think I would lead with aho and switch the next 3 depending on development or regression of centers played with over there abilities alone.

Both have different games, Rantanen plays a big heavy game but great skater and defence and has a huge offensive skill set on top, point is amazing, he def could be better by mid way next season than Rantanen and pas him for me
