Colorado says no, in my opinion. Maybe if it was for Crosby instead of Malkin.

I just don't think COL needs either of those guys.

I think Colorado says no, but if that's all it took to get Crosby, then Rutherford would get tinnitus from all the phones ringing.

(Yes, I do think Byram is amazing.)

Crosby isn't gonna get traded.

Who would you guys say was better at their peak, Tavares or Stamkos?

I don't think Tavares has reached his peak yet - last year was his best remember.

Do you think he benefitted from playing with Marner or was he just a poors man Okposo?

Last season was both player's most productive seasons, Stammer got 98pts and Johnny T got 88pts. But I'd still take Stammer.

If I had to rank all the players in NHL by likelihood of being traded, Crosby would be dead last. He is the NHL's flagship player.

Probably Stamkos. Other than Ovechkin, probably the one player I never want to see on PP against my team.

What about Laine? Isn't he dangerous on the PP too?

Yeah...maybe he needs a couple of years, but not as feared as Stamkos or Ovechkin

Trade Crosby.

Only if JG is along for the ride. SC is nothing without him...Add a conditional 7th just to sweeten the pot.

I'd say Stamkos has hit higher peaks, but Tavares has never played with great players like Stammer has... and Tavares is more consistent. For that reason, I might take JT over Stamkos, but it would feel real bad because I feel like Stamkos is more electric.

There is a good chance Byram ends up being the best player the best player in his draft class.

from watching him live 5 times in vancouver and seeing the defensive mistakes he makes I doubt that. I could see him being a OEL/Subban type guy

Don't trade Kahun! He's really good. i'm a Chicago fan and he's a very disciplined and good defensive forward who has offensive upsided. High hockey IQ and a great passer. A little bit of an under rated shot. Comparable to Hossa and Saad. Also, Bowen Byram and a first is slightly overpay for Malkin. Maybe Malkin and a 3rd for Byram and Jost?

Ask any random person on the street to name one NHL player, Crosby will be named twice as much as McDavid.

Perhaps. But the same would be true if you asked the older generations to name a band. Crosby has been around three times as long.

Also, McDavid doesn't have no trade clause for 3 more years

McD will be requesting a trade out of Edmonton within the next 3 years.
