$6M is too much but imagine looking at points total for a defenseman; even worse: A DEFENSIVE DEFENSEMAN

I like the player but lets face it hes a good defensive dman thats going to play his whole career babysitting defensively weaker partners, theres a reason why he had what 17 or 18 pts as a rookie next to chara but half that much having to cover for krug

Neither will be moved. McAvoy & Carlo will anchor our top 4 right side for the next 10+ years.

I think he also spent a lot of time focusing on his defense. Sweeney and Co have been pushing him to get more involved offensively because he can contribute. It's a confidence thing. I'm expecting a better offensive year from him.
