If Im Ralph Kruger Game 1

Created by: sabres1108
Team: 2019-20 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 4, 2019
Published: Aug. 4, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Assuming Botterill makes no more moves.

I hope he trades 55 though.

Give Cozens 9 games and see what he can do in top 6 with 2 of the best forwards on the team.

Let Eichel and Mittelstadt feed Olofsson one timers on his forehand all day and he's getting 30+ tucks no doubt.

Give Reinhart a chance to try and play his natural position again in a contract year, he will be super motivated to cash in big time in offseason.

literally only Eichel and Skinner are on their real positions

Olofsson plays LW, not RW.

You need Mittelstadt and Cozens at C, not wing

You keep Reinhart on RW since he is the only real right winger you guys have

ummmm Cozens plays RW too?

Reinhart was drafted as a Center played center his entire hockey career except past couple years

olofsson plays both wings yeah LW is his natural side but read the damn description...his one time is nuts-theres a reason why ovechkin plays LW not RW

mittelstadt didn’t exactly light up the league at C so try him at wing just like we did with Reinhart before

and literally Mittelstadt is the only player here at a position he hasnt played before lolololol u r being dramatic

A. Reinhart has proven himself as a top 6 RW. The center experiments with him are over. He isnt an NHL center. Hes a RW.

B. The 9 game tryout only applies when a player would go back to juniors instead of the AHL. I think Cozens can play in the AHL this season. (Have to double check his eligibility for juniors)

C. Olofson di play a few games at RW last season but is better on his natural side. He will slot on the 3rd line LW to start the year.

D. Mittlestat is a center. He is only 20. Hence not lighting it up last season. He needs seasoning on a 3rd line which is why Botts should be doing everything in his power to land a legit 2C to play for 2 years and would be ok at 3C when Mitts takes over the 2C spot

Cozens does have junior eligibility left so the 9 game tryout is indeed correct. He cannot play for the Amerks this season

Olofsson can use that 1timer on the PP. He also has a great wrist shot so 5v5 I'd rather have him at LW.

Dude Reinhart didnt work out at center when he was 20 years old playing on some of the worst teams in NHL history with guys like Jamie McGinn and matt moulson as his linemates.....hes was drafted 2nd overall to play Center why not at least try one more time to see if it works you have nothing to lose

its hilarious because its the exact argument you are making for Mittelstadt not playing wing hahaha

i love how you act like you had a beer with Krueger this weekend and he showed you his lines for game 1 ha

Cozens gets 9 games

2 seasons ago Reinhart at center was tried by Housley. Remember? That's how he ended up with this **** bridge deal that will kill the sabres next season. All the fans wanted him traded and how he only produced the second half of the year. It was because he is too slow to be a center in the NHL. He is going to be a premier right winger in the NHL. Mittlestat has the wheels to be a center. Watch them play! Reinhart is a better producer because of his net front presence and his ability to pass from the wing. He isnt a fast enough or fluid enough skater to play center in the NHL!

But still not fast enough to be an NHL center! Just because hes faster than his teammates doesn't make him fast! Lmao

Kevin Hayes is slow af and just got paid like 50 million dollars to be an NHL center LMAO

ROR just won the conn smyth and he is by no means fast

Getzlaf
Johansen
Stastny

all players known for being a little slower

the most important key to being an effective NHL center is having the ability to make plays while playing a good 2 way game and Reinhart does exactly that
