Make it either Volkov and a 2nd or Raddysh and a 1st. That’s what it takes for Kreider at 50% retained. Your offer isn’t too far off though.

Why are all TBL fans trying to trade Sergachev? He's 21, and has great numbers (standard and advanced metric numbers) at a low salary (for at least 1 more year). These are the types of guys teams need to keep to make it work. Especially for Risto, who's only advantage over Sergachev is he is right-handed, everything else he's awful at.

Thank you.
Sergachev would be a great #2 Dman anywhere, people are really low on him and I don't know why. You look at his analytics and they tell you the full story, he's great

Make it Cj Smith instead of Asplund than you have a deal. Cj Smith definitely can be a bottom six scoring winger. 102 points in the AHL his first two pro seasons.

I think they would if Johnson was coming the other way, Sobotka was part of the deal and the draft picks were going the other way. Otherwise, retain 1.4 mil and cancel Asplund and a 2nd.

Too many moving pieces for TB to get everything done and be under the cap...

I not a huge Serge fan .. do I not like him alot?.. no. He still young .. 3 things bug me: ( on this point not in life )

1. Own zone errors.. my biggest issue

2. Plays soft and could hurt playoff time .. whole friggen team in that bucket until they out of "pansy prison"

3. He will try to get big money as RFA next year and most will be on potential .. which is risky. He will be after Cirelli Cernek and Joseph on importancd pecking order to me. A trade could really help both cap and team need for a big top 6 wing

Why Shatterkirk signing is huge to me

I would agree with 2 of the 3 points, but as you said, he's still young. Though, I don't think the contract will be as big as people think unless he absolutely crushes this year, he's still only a .45PPG LHD playing somewhat sheltered minutes. Shattenkirk will push his usage down the lineup, which is exactly what he needs. If you want to move him in his RFA year, then yes, trade him for a young F (and probably get a pretty good return) on a controllable contract.

But, for people that want to trade him for Risto, have they seen Risto play? There is a reason why BUF is trying to get rid of a 25 yr old RHD with a reasonable contract.
