Gagner produces what? 15-20 pts?. Perreault can play on every line, every position and like every situation; produces 35-45 pts so thrown in a D (prospect)

No team will take him so its unrealistic
hes a minus to the team and will be a scratch all year on most teams

I don't know where you made up your Gagner vs Perreault stats but Gagner was a 0.41PPG last year and Perreault was 0.37PPG. Gagner can also play anywhere in the lineup, just lacks a bit on the defensive side of the game compared to Perreault but Gagner is also cheaper player and WPG needs cap badly. So they get cap relief, a pick and still a player they can use in their bottom 6 cause that's all Perreault is to them

Gagner won't make it past 25 pts next season lol
