For the idea/ format but I changed it slightly

Tier 1 - *Elite/ guaranteed star* It’s not a hit, it’s a home run. They’re gonna be in your line up almost immediately after draft. If not, some time to cook just a little in the oven, before releasing them. They’re a dream come true for a GM.

Tier 2 - *”Blue Chip”* a top prospect in the league, they may need some time before moving up, but they’re it, they’re what you wish for in a drafted player.

Tier 3 - Stud : these guys are usually teams top prospects, they got high ceilings. They’ve got work to do, and that’s not a bad thing. You gotta get dirty sometimes and put in work. You’re gonna have a top 6 most likely on your hand eventually or a top 4 guy.

Tier 4 - Make or break : these guys are middle pack. They’re either from the above tiers and fell hard, or unfortunately have misfired so far or they’re from the below tiers trying to figure out what their career is gonna be. They got 1 season or so left to show their worth or they may get lose between the lines, cause it happens so fast nowadays. They aren’t NECESSARILY better than the tier right below but you get what I mean by make or break.

Tier 5 - Good kid : these guys are developing well, with good potential just haven’t shown that IT factor. Your either gonna work your way up to the next tier but they’ll probably be 21-23 when they’re showing their worth in the show. Stay in this tier and possibly be a top 9/4-5 pair guy. Definitely can surprise you but don’t count on a miracle here.

Tier 6 - bottom of the barrel : these guys are 4th liners or 6/7 pair guys who have a role if they can make it to the NHL, but they’re not gonna be making big bucks, filling in holes or supporting cast. By no means a bad job, but you’re not gonna cry if you trade these guys.

Tier 7 - Scraps : I mean wonders happen, Lundqvist was a 7th rounder after all and he was probably put here. But lol?? atleast these guys still make more than any of us

This is kind of ridiculous. True is too high, Blichfeld is too low. There is no way you know enough about Bergmann,Knyazev,Sund,Kellman,Yurtaykin and Gallant to write them off before they have even spent any time in the system. The sharks signed them for a reason

I would say Blichfeld and Dahlen are too low

I do think (base on your description) that Merkley should be in the tier 3 "stud". He is far frome a #1 defensemen and will need some work. Not saying he is bad.

I think only Chekhovich and Chmelevski should be in tier 3. True should be a tier lower, and Ferraro would kinda be in the middle of 3 and 4. Sund should be in tier 6, and Spiridonov and Hamaliuk (not on the list) should be at around tier 5.

No argument on those 6 names, as I said it’s not 1 and done didn’t think feel like going over all of them again.

Agreed on Ferraro and yeah those guys I couldn’t find so I didn’t create them.

I would say maybe we could say that from draft day but he has improved quite a bit, I agree he’s not a #1 d yet but he’s getting close

Personally I’m not sold on Dahlén and I just don’t think Blich is up there with the other group.

I personally think true is high from my opinion, but I do agree he’s not on the same field as Chek and chmel
