Romanov will start in the KHL next season, than I think he should go to Laval to adjust to smaller rink and NHL player caliber he'll be nhl ready in 2 years.

Apparently Markov’s eyeing a 1 year return to the Nhl before he retires, with Mtl. Maybe Habs sign him instead of Gardiner as a reliable #5-6 guy, and next year Romanov debuts? Gardiner could be good but he would take up a spot that Romanov or even Brook would be more useful in in the coming years!
