* Get a RH-Forward in return to trade Rusy = T. Lewis

3- Get a physical Forward = M. Jones

4- Find a #3 Goalie since I traded DeSmith = Dansk

I love this Roster & the depth on it ....

FORWARDS -
Top Line of :19-87-59 - maybe the best 2 wingers Sid have had
2nd Line of ; 18-71-24 - could be scary good
3rd line of ; 12-27-72 - perfect 3rd line
4th line of ; 13/49- 53/22 - 22/46 - great options
The Forwards have 8 guys that can play Center. Also having Bjugstad, McCann, Lewis, & Kahun who all can play 3rd Line
Center or Wing give this group a ton of dif line combinations and match up options.
Plus having 2 physical guys like Jones & ZAR that are the #13 & #14 forwards.

DEFENSE -
1st Pairing ; 8-58 - 1 of best top pairing in NHL
2nd pairing ; 16-4 - A huge upgrade & Schultz bounces back
3rd pairing ; 28-44 - Played Great last yr together
Depth D-men - 50-2 - most teams 3rd pairing

GOALIES -
#1 - 30 - 2 Cups only 25yrs old - Nuff said
#2 - 35 - young good goalie that will do just as good or better than DeSmith

Trades
1.
PIT
  1. Zadorov, Nikita
  2. 2021 5th round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
2021 - 5th round pick (COL) is "CONTIONAL PICK"
- Only if Zadorov does NOT Re-sign w/ PIT after 2020 season
(which is very unlikely)

- Zadorov had another up & down season like his other previous NHL seasons BUT its hard not to love his size, skating ability, & physical play. Plus COL has like 9 NHL D-men now & 3-4 really good prospects coming or almost ready for NHL in Bryam, Timmins, Rosen, & Meloche.
COL
  1. DeSmith, Casey
  2. 2021 2nd round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
- DeSmith is a great back-up Goalie but Pens have Jarry who has more upside & could do just as good. COL does NOT have a valid Back-up and DeSmith could easily handle 30-35 starts and keep Grubauer fresh during season.
2.
PIT
  1. Lewis, Trevor ($500,000 retained)
Additional Details:
- Lewis had an injury last yr that ruined half his season but he still can skate, is still a valuable 4th liner that can play all 3 F- spots, and Plus a good PK guy.
LAK
  1. Johnson, Jack
  2. Miletic, Sam
  3. 2020 4th round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
- LAK take on JJ contract for 2 more yrs then use him as a player to expose in Expansion Draft, since LAK will have all those young players in NHL or close to NHL then.

- Miletic is a solid power forward prospect & projects as a 3rd line winger that could see time in NHL this yr.
3.
PIT
  1. Jones, Max
  2. 2020 3rd round pick (ANA)
Additional Details:
Im a huge M. Jones fan... Even tho he is a former 1st Rdr... his ceiling only projects as a 3rd liner but with his size, speed physical ability, and how he plays on the edge... He would be a perfect fit for Pens bc we have no forwards like that.
ANA
  1. Ölund, Linus
  2. Rust, Bryan
Additional Details:
- Rusty can do it all & will be a tough lose but w/ the cheaper additions of Kahun & Lewis it has to be done.
4.
PIT
  1. Dansk, Oscar
Additional Details:
This is a need for a 3rd Goalie w/ trading DeSmith & Ive always been a fan of Dansk.
VGK
  1. Johnson, Adam
Additional Details:
Johnson is a speed demon that could be ready for NHL or at worst the 1st call up on a team.

I actually ment to change that bc I had another pick going to LAK, then took it away & forgot to cancel retaining money

No, I think he is finally NHL ready... he played great the last 30 games for ANA but only if he can stay healthy tho... thats been his problem since turning pro.

why would they trade Max Jones, that's never going to happen.

And COL isn't trading Zadorov , and surely not for that. They already have blue line issues with 2 guys on LTIR to start the season. Why would they complicate their problems by trading away a starting defenseman?

Bc ANA has like 19 NHL ready or almost ready prospects and Jones is ranked between #7-#11 on most Ducks prospect rankings, so he is not one of there best guys + not many proven Right wingers w/ only Kase , Silverberg, & an erratic Sprong.

again COL has Cole, Zadorov, Connauton, Girard, Barberio, Graves, Rosen, and now Bryam at LHD .... Johnson, Maker, Timmins, & Meloche at RHD .... So I think they will be alright , lol.

that is a horrible list for COL. Cole might not even play this year. He isn't expected to be back till at least mid December, and he's coming off 2 hip surgeries, god knows what you get.
