While I see the idea behind this. I don't Buffalo would do it ,to take on Turris contract long term. If that's how he will play for the rest of the contract Poile isn't give Turris away he will want full value, so next year or mid season when his value will probably rebound and teams will be kicking themselves cause they will have to pay a lot more.
