Description

Just one trade let's us sneak in under the cap. I bury Manning in the minors rather than Smith because Smith can "play" the right side and forward. Rangers get a pick because they retain $1mil, which Edmonton needs because they are pretty tight with the cap too.
Kreider gets traded at the deadline, perhaps Strome if one of the kids is looking like the #2 center.

there is no reason for that edmonton trade.. we lose a decent roster player for just a 5th, yeah i get the cap but they can make it work
