From the jackets perspective, why not. He could still become a solid bottom sixer.

Never really got a chance in the peg. Hope he gets one in Columbus, the team who drafted him and whom he had plenty of success with in his rookie season

If he doesn't make the Blue Jackets out of training camp, which is more than likely he won't it's actually only 300k to play for the farm team smile smile

Interestingly he's a big reason why Panarin ended up in CBJ.

He was a major piece in the deal that brought Saad to CBJ after an amazing rookie year. Saad was traded for Panarin in roughly a 1-1 deal.

So it was Dano and Anisimov that resulted in Panarin, not a bad series of trades CBJ
