Is he a fit and how much?

I would love to see Andrei return and hit his 1000th game with MTL. He would also be a good mentor for some of the younger guys coming up, but at what price? All indications are he still is an NHL calibre D-man but not at the level he once was.

What are your thoughts?

Rather the Habs signed Larry Robinson or Doug Harvey (deceased) than Markov. No proof he is NHL good at this point. A PTO should be the best offer, and then maybe contract.

No fit. He's too old and even before he left, had messed up knees. Hire him as a team advisor or front office.
