Why would krug have any interest in Minnesota? It's already been reported that if he leaves Boston, He's heading home to Detroit.

Maybe because it’s not up to him. He has a modified trade clause. He can not determine exactly where he goes.

That’s not the problem with this deal. The problem is that it makes very little sense for MIN to take on Krug when the have a RH top 4 D and a PP specialist in Dumba.

I think Minnesota would be interested in guys like Frederic, Zboril ,etc.... Minnesota needs prospects and really needs to rebuild.

Hey, hey, hey, pump the breaks a little bit lol. If Minny has interest in this trade my Leafs can do them a favour and take Dumba off their hands for them, and in exchange for doing them this favour, they can have our headache... I mean Mitch Marner lol.

I’m a bruins fan but I agree here and also think there is no need for Koivu, that being said zboril and Senyshyn could be involved IMO and V.Rask comes to Boston in the deal

$3,25M is nothing are you even serious

He is a freakin top pairing D and will just get better over the next seasons, even if it's a bridge deal, it's minimum $6M

He's a group 1 RFA and this is a bridge deal? What do you think he'd get on a 7/8 year deal?

Y'all think there's a massive gap between bridge and long-term lol

Actually he's a 10.2c free agent; I get he has no arbitration rights, can't be offer sheeted but McAvoy can just sit and wait until Bruins make cap space/offer him a better deal. That's not what we want. Stop giving incredibly low $ just because he has no " leverage "; his leverage is freakin time

Is he going to sit out the year? If he thinks he's worth 3x6 on his first deal, he's going to pass on 3x5?

Ya but u have to look at comparables who were group 1 rfa’s and what they signed for. 3.75x2 is market value. The most he gets for holding out is 4.25x2, not 6+

I believe when Krug was a group 1 RFA he signed for 1.4 mill, this was coming off of a 40 point season too. If the deal is two years or less he's not getting more than 4

times changes

anyways, you can think he's worth that but it's not the reality. If you complain about his salary when he'll sign (not anything under $5M), you'll obviously be the one who is seen as the idiot but okay everyone's opinion

likewise likewise. When he signs a bridge under 5 mil we’ll see who has the last laugh
