Given the trade value, I think the robbery is for Nashville. I think Detroit is overpaying for Turris. Horrible year for him last year. Is stock has to be at an all time low. Yzerman is a crafty GM. He made some great trades while in Tampa. He is the kind of GM who excels at getting a little more in any trade he does.

I suspect his current mandate is to lower the average age on the club. The Red Wings are a pretty old club. I think that leaves Turris out. But if Turris was seen by the Red Wings as a centre they wanted, Yzerman is crafty enough to insist David Poile throw in a prospect to take Turris off his hands.

If Turris is indeed moved, then it is going to be a salary dump. With Duchene on the club, Turris could very well be the third center. $6 M for 3C is pricey. Nashville may need to offer a sweetener if they want to move him.

If don’t see Nashville wanting the two players offered. I think the 2nd round draft pick is enough, maybe a little too much, but Detroit (Yzerman) would insist a pick coming back.

I doubt Yzerman gives up on E. Svetch that easily, but I'm betting Poile accepts if he's offered Abdelkader, E. Sve, and a 2nd for Turris, who is a spare part he obviously should be happy to move.
