We can't offer sheet anyone because we don't have our own 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (the 3rd is Toronto's).

The Ericsson trade is really doubtful imo and I don't think trading Tats for a 2nd and 3rd is a good idea.

I don't feel comfortable with the Edmonton trade. I think Glendening is useful, where as Yakupov is a distraction. Ference isn't worth anything, but I get why he is included. I just think the Wings value is better then Edmonton's. I don't like the Kucherov idea too much either. It would be cool and might even help Detroit sell Stamkos. I think its great to dump Ericsson for a 6th round pick. Overall, a pretty good roster and one that I wouldn't mind watching next season.

The Tatar trade returned the 3rd round pick back to Detroit. Even without it, Detroit CAN submit offer sheets. They're just limited on the amount of money they offer.

Glendening is a black hole. Go review his advanced metrics. He didn't do anything for the Wings this year. Helm at $3M+ is more value than Glendening at <$1M even with Helm's inevitable decline.

Holland is unlikely to do an offer sheet. He's spoken out against them in the past (particularly because of the one Carolina signed Fedorov to way back when). But I thought it'd be something different than the Eriksson signing that I usually do.
