you should just trade Brodie to MTL for Juulsen package
after that you'll have the cap to sign Tkchuk longterm with no big names needing paid for 3 year when Bennet and Valamaki will be your first prospects in position to demand money since Tkchuk

Brodie is a pending UFA so if you can get Juulsen and a conditional 2nd for him to relieve enough cap to sign Tkchuk to a 7 year deal with enough money to offer him 8-10m if need be with a few million cap left to fill holes . you get younger but more importantly you lock up the biggest Star you've had since Igninla . (no knock against the rest just i like Tchuk )
