Not a lot of teams have much for cap space and then there's also the roster spot factor, how many teams with cap space have a need for any of these guys?

I think that many of them are still useful players in the right situation but it seems like it might be the end of of the road for some of these guys. Once some of the rfa's get settled and teams know how much space they have left some of these players will probably find jobs. Some early season injuries might get some of these guys work as well.

PTO's for some, Europe and retirement for others on this list.

Isles could use Brassard, Edmonton could use Maroon and/or Vanek, Sheahan and Smith-Pelly will get a contract from somewhere. Gardiner I see going to Peg, Montreal, Pitt or SJS, whoever makes the room for him first

Winnipeg could use Jumbo Joe. We're not getting him though.

there has to be a decent team out there that wouldn't mind the depth you get with Williams or maroon or even marleau or pomminville. whats gardiner do is the question, a 1 year 5 million dollar kind of deal in favorable spot and try again next year???
