My guy you guys haven’t been relevant since the 80s so you don’t got much to say either hahahahaha

I just asked my dad, found out he wasn’t actually alive in 1967. Tough scene.

Have you been alive to see a Leafs series win? Cause I’ve been alive to see an Isles series win. In fact, my baby cousin has been alive to see an Isles series win. Why you might ask? Because the Isles have won a series since 2002. Tough scene for Toronto.

Marner plays in more games, puts up more points, and is much better defensively. Yes, Matthews is an elite goal scorer but he is a pylon on defense. Isn’t a center supposed to be a complete player?

there are many players in the league who aren't great defensively, but when you are the one putting the goals in the net making everyone around you look better with their silly assist numbers, it seems lots of people look the other way. I guess there is a reason for that. Like I don't know, the score board.

Tavares has never scored 40 goals in his career before playing a full year with marner. This was his 10th season.

he also had by far his highest shooting percentage ever. As they say, all things even out in the end.I doubt he goes another year with a 16% shooting percentage.

He's had a 17.3 S % and a 14.4 S% so I don't know where you got that from

Yes because of all the top 6 forwards in hockey who don't score and people consider them doing "something."
They are the 1st ones dropped to lower lines and the ones that take the blame when the team doesn't win with everyone saying they need "improvements"
But go on.

goals/shots on net. even strength I believe are the numbers I used.

And it's by far his highest. Some players have years like that. They shoot really well for a year. It doesn't mean it's consistent or repeatable.
You'll see this year when the shooting percentage drops. It's bound to.
