Description

The LAK TRADE -
I think Carter would agree to come here to get a chance to win again and IMO he still has 2 good/solid yrs left in him. He would
be a perfect 3rd line Center at this point, also taking some of the face-off responsibility off of Sid too.
PLUS, Carter being the 3rd line C gets Bjugstad back to his better position of being a top 6 RWer.

UFA SIGNINGS -
Ben Hutton takes a 1yr Prove it deal & a chance to show he can play 2nd Pairing minutes here.
Jamie McGinn wins spot on a PTO
Stefan Noesen goes to WBS on a PTO

I would loveeeeee turning JJ into Carter somehow. Don’t even need the retention. Move out another body to make room

Yah I think it would be a perfect get for us.... Carter could take a lot of Face-offs, could replace Cullen as a top PK guy, could even take Kessels spot on the Left wall w/ Bjugstad too on PP

This trade reminds me of those warnings you see on ETFs.
Past performance does not indicate future returns. Or something to that matter.

He's gonna be 35 this year, that contract runs till he's 37..... good luck with that. I'd rather have fresh young legs.

Yah, I get what ur saying and I hate getting older guys too but Carter played better the 2nd half of the season for a shatty LAK team after missing the yr before .... I think he still has a good yr left in him then we can move him again.
