Parise will be near impossible to trade. He's 35 now and still has 6 years left on his deal with a hefty $7.5m cap hit. Minnesota will be in a tough spot for the near future with him and Suter under contract for the next 6 years at a combined hit of $15m. Not to mention the fact that they both have a NMC.

He just played 74 games and put up 61 points

So funny everybody think Sobotka contract will be terminated. Won't happen he will play in AHL instead go to KHL. Nobody gone pay that much money in KHL.

Front loaded contract means he could retire or be hossa'ed if need be. He has been consistently productive
