Description

Here are my Ottawa Senators stats predictions for the 2019-20 season. There is certainly a lack of high-end talent up front, but there is no question that this team has a lot of depth. Look for scoring by committee and a very mobile defence core this season.

There are two key assumptions to make for the purpose of this exercise:
1) All these players make the team (not guaranteed at all)
2) All these players play 82 games with the sens

If your projections play out, curious to see where you'd have them finishing. I believe most 'experts' will have them last overall. Personally, I could see this team surprising as they come together, and being a bigger threat in the East than expected. Every year there are surprises, Ottawa to me could be one this season...they've had an underrated off-season imo.

I completely agree. Most likely, they will be a bottom 5 team but they have a lot more depth than people think and can surprise some teams if goaltending can hold its own. Definitely not fair to guarantee them in last place.
