My top trade target from each team

Created by: Dan10900
Team: 2019-20 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 12, 2019
Published: Aug. 13, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If you're a PIT fan give me your list of players you want to see in a penguins uniform sometime in the future, and fans of other teams tell me what your asking price is for these guys bc I'll probably be looking to acquire some of them in future ACGM's
Trades
1.
PIT
  1. Mahura, Josh
Additional Details:
He's a solid young NHL ready d men, but could be the odd man out on ANA's left side with Lindholm Fowler Guhle and Larsson on top of him, I'd be willing to give up Addison+ for him due to them having similar ceilings imo, and Mahura already being at a similar stage in development to where MP was going into last season, and it makes some sense for ANA bc they have Manson Fowler (can play both sides) and... on the right side for the future
ANA
2.
PIT
  1. Hinostroza, Vinnie
Additional Details:
Doesn't make much sense for ARZ, trading away a legit top 6 winger, but I'd love to see him in PIT, and probably would have rather had him than Galch, depending on what else came with him instead of POJ (basically anything instead of POJ would have been better...) HM to John Farinacci, he was one of the best picks in the draft last year and will turn out to be a stud middle 6 forward imo
ARI
3.
PIT
  1. Grzelcyk, Matt
Additional Details:
Again doesn't make a ton of sense BOS, they need solid players on reasonable cap hits, but they do have excess LD so it's not like it makes 0 sense, HM to Carlo, the fact that he's currently an RFA and Gryz is on a steal of a deal is the difference makes between the two (on who my number one target would be, not on who I think is better)
BOS
4.
PIT
  1. Eichel, Jack
Additional Details:
I got nobody that is be all that interested in from BUF, jokiharju I guess... But I doubt they'd trade him after just getting him, it's not like they're trade Eichel either, but irdc lol
BUF
5.
PIT
  1. Välimäki, Juuso
Additional Details:
Irdc that he's hurt, I'd still give up a good amount to get him lol, he's only here over like Brodie or Kylington bc he just got hurt, maybe bringing his value down a bit... HM's to Czarnik, was my favorite Bruin when he played there, and Emilio Pettersson who killed it in the NCAA last year and is looking like a complete steal from 2018
CGY
6.
PIT
  1. Webber, Cade [Reserve List]
Additional Details:
I would LOVE to get Pesce, but I'm taking the other team into consideration SLIGHTLY, so I'll just go for Webber instead, he's a massive young d man, seems to be more of a project, but I had him mocked to PIT in the 4th round (BUF's pick that they got for Sheary/Hunwick, but then used to trade up for Legare) and he ended up going either one pick sooner or one pick later to CAR
CAR
7.
PIT
  1. Lankinen, Kevin
Additional Details:
We have to move Jarry or DeSmith and since Lankinen is the #4 in CHI, but was amazing in the world championships (which I don't put much stock into, but it's basically all I have for him) and could be a decent #3 for PIT, HM's to Altybarmakyan for having a fantastic name (and being a decent spec) that I need to see on the back of an NHL jersey, and Josiah Slavin so I can brag that we traded for J. Slavin
CHI
8.
PIT
  1. Beaucage, Alex [Reserve List]
Additional Details:
Nobody that stands out on COL that really interests me, it was a toss up between him Shvyryov Bowers and Zhuravlyov
COL
9.
PIT
  1. Murray, Ryan
Additional Details:
CBJ is set for LD's, he could be the odd man out due to injury issues, idk, HM's (there's a lot of them) to Texier (my favorite blue jacket already) Vehv and Elvis (CBJ has a ton of backups, just no starters) Gavrikov, as a possibly underrated wild card from the KHL and Mozyakin for being the KHL goat
CBJ
10.
PIT
  1. Honka, Julius [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
I don't think Dallas has any intentions of playing him, and I don't think they're asking for much in return, I think he'd fit nicely into our bottom pair (assuming we move JJ and Guddy, he's a step above Ruhwedel Riikola and Trotman) although I really really really wanted to put oleksiak bc he was my favorite penguin while he was here (I have odd choices for my favorite players lol, currently it's Adam Johnson)
DAL
11.
PIT
  1. Hirose, Taro
Additional Details:
I really wanted him to sign with PIT coming out of the NCAA, but signed with DET instead and did exactly what I thought he would do, was nearly a PPG in his first 10 games or so (he had 6 points in 7 games at least, idk after that lol) HM to Kaski, I also wanted him to sign with us out of Liiga
DET
12.
PIT
  1. Marody, Cooper
Additional Details:
A reasonably priced probable middle 6 winger, seems a lot like what EDM needs, but if he doesn't crack the lineup this year, I'd love to see him in PIT, I think he'd light it up with Crosby or Malkin (though then again most players would...)
EDM
13.
PIT
  1. Weegar, MacKenzie
Additional Details:
Had decent possession metrics in looked showings last year, I think he could be a decent #5, filling in the top 4 occasionally when necessary, HM's to Justin Schutz bc I thought his name was Justin Schutz for a solid 3-4 months after the 2018 draft, Trochek for being a good Pittsburgh boy, Accari bc I really really wanted PIT to sign him in FA (especially over Tanev) and Finkelstein bc the one guy on here that always trades for him bc the name
FLA
14.
PIT
  1. Frk, Martin
Additional Details:
Teach him accuracy and show him Crosby and he could be deadly, it's a long shot ik, but he has a great last name too lol
LAK
15.
PIT
  1. Eriksson Ek, Joel [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Nobody that I really really wanted, but if MIN does want to compete (idk why, but apparently they do) I think JEE could be a solid middle 6 C, and I'd be willing to work a trade around a guy like Bjugstad for him (with parts being added to both sides most likely)
MIN
16.
PIT
  1. Struble, Jayden [Reserve List]
Additional Details:
An athletic freak, probably not worth a second round pick, but if this guy develops he could be scary good
MTL
17.
PIT
  1. Järnkrok, Calle
Additional Details:
Nobody stands out on BUF, I'd be willing to swap depth guys like Rust for him, HM to Bonino bc all the Hornqvist for Bonino trades I've done lol
NSH
18.
PIT
  1. Gritsyuk, Arseni [Reserve List]
Additional Details:
A guy I wouldn't have minded the pens selecting on the mid rounds, though I forget where he ended up going, nobody else that I really wanted, though I did have case McCarthy mocked to the pens in the 5th I think
NJD
19.
PIT
  1. Aho, Sebastian
Additional Details:
It really wasn't a question, I can get Sebastian Aho for cheap, idc if it's an overused joke, I'm going to use it again, also I think he'd actually fit well as a 6/7 d man for us, HM to BLADE Jenkins bc his first name is Blade lol, and Mayfield as a different depth d man option (who I would have went with had Aho's name been anything else)
NYI
20.
PIT
  1. Hájek, Libor
Additional Details:
One of the more underrated young d men, I think he's NHL ready and has a very high ceiling, but that is probably just me lol, HM's to Mr. Exceptional status Sean Day, and Ty Ronning, will he make it out of camp (probably not)
NYR
21.
PIT
  1. DeMelo, Dylan
Additional Details:
I've seen him coming back in a lot of trades, mostly JJ dumps, but still, I think he'd fit well in our bottom pair, and he's a pending UFA, meaning Melnyk will have to pay him what he's worth, and Melnyk can't be doing that lol
OTT
22.
PIT
  1. Aubé-Kubel, Nicolas
Additional Details:
Obviously would never happen... These two teams are never going to make any notable trade, but Aube-Kubel is my favorite flyer, and I think he'll be a solid third line option for a team that needs some forward depth this year if he does get moved, bc I don't see him making the team in Philly this year
PHI
23.
PIT
  1. Chekhovich, Ivan
Additional Details:
Really any of their somewhat ok forward prospects, blichfeld Chemevelski, True, I would love to see them all in PIT lol, but I don't see SJS moving any of them bc they're close to NHL ready and SJS just lost like their entire bottom 6 seemingly this off-season lol
SJS
24.
PIT
  1. Walker, Nathan
Additional Details:
Nobody on STL that I really wanted so I had to decide between the Aussie, no fan wouldn't want the Aussie on their team right, Dotchin, the NHL 18 ultimate facepuncher (always good for around 20 fights/year for no good reason lol) and Kostin and Sundqvist... Can we please have them back STL... Please...
STL
25.
PIT
  1. Barré-Boulet, Alex
Additional Details:
Another guy that I (shockingly) wanted us to sign as a UDFA, he destroyed the Q, then went to the AHL and put up very respectable numbers as a rookie, he might crack the NHL this year, but probably won't in Tampa bc they somehow still have a ton of depth, and aren't like 50 mil over the cap, I swear they have to have some sort of cap evasion going on down there lol, even though they do have a massive cap crunch next year, but back to Barre-Boulet, I think he could be close to a PPG with Crosby (not next year, but when he hits his ceiling) I'm really high on this kid lol
TBL
26.
PIT
  1. Åberg, Pontus
Additional Details:
Another guy that I really wanted PIT to sign when he was sitting on the UFA market for a while, I watched him a bunch during his short stint in ANA, and he was fantastic (and was close to, if not their leading goal scorer at the time) though ik he wasn't nearly as good in min, he's shown the potential to be very good, I wouldn't be surprised if he hits 15-15-30 in a full season with TOR
TOR
27.
PIT
  1. Goldobin, Nikolay [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
I've seen a few VAN ACGM's trade him out for cheap, I'll take him, a young winger on pace for 35+ points on VAN, I'll take him for cheap, even if he doesn't end up making in the top 6, it certainly doesn't hurt to have the extra depth so that if one guy in your top 6 goes down you're dead
VAN
28.
PIT
  1. Whitecloud, Zach
Additional Details:
This sounds extremely familiar, but I really wanted this guy to sign with us as a UDFA, I think he's close to NHL ready, should split time this year between the NHL and AHL, and play full time next year, also has a relatively high ceiling... How tf do you have so many good players Vegas, you're an expansion team, you're supposed to suck for the first 5 years of existence lol, HM to Kallionkelli for being part Brazilian
VGK
29.
PIT
  1. Priskie, Chase [Reserve List]
Additional Details:
Iirc said he doesn't want to sign in WSH, but was extremely good in the NCAA last year, I'd never complain about picking up a cheap OFD that is probably quite close to NHL ready
WSH
30.
PIT
  1. Lowry, Adam
Additional Details:
Had pretty good synergy with Tanev I think, and we need that to make that signing not look as bad as it does now, HM to basically the rest of the team bc I would like to have them all in PIT lol

Nice choice targeting Hirose from Detroit. I don't think Detroit is going to move him but I haven't heard anything either way.

With Frk it's not just accuracy he has issues with his defensive play makes AA look like a Selke finalist. But his one timer from the dot is scary.

I was debating between McCabe and Joki, but Eichel is one of my 3-5 favorite non penguins in the NHL so I just went for him lol
